BeholdR 5.0 Released

We are proud to announce BeholdR 5.0, our biggest release yet!

The highlights of this new release include:

  • Disable BeholdR on a per-view basis.
  • Suppress BeholdR if the Scene View is not in Shaded mode.
  • Save & Load Post Effects stack Presets.
  • Preset Matrix window for quick comparison between presets.
  • Reorder the Post Effects list to reorder the components on the BeholdR game object.

…and many fixes and performance improvements.

Hello everyone!

Fields of War version 0.9.6b released

Hello everyone!

We’ve updated Fields of War to version 0.9.6b

As you’ll see this is a massive bug-fix update, and we’re expecting to release the final version of Fields of War soon.

  • Map icon size adapts to zoom level
  • Map scroll speed adapts to zoom level
  • Different map icons for AI bots
  • Feedback when low on health

Changed:

  • Infiltrator Sneak Attack from first after decloak to every time it hits a mech from behind
  • Infiltrator normal attack damage nerfed
  • Squad leader icon on player list changed to crown

Fixed:

  • AI keep shooting even after Line-of-Sight was lost
  • Demolition can jump into buildings
  • Engineer firing effect continues even after running out of ammo
  • Transfer doesn’t get canceled when the destination field was lost to the faction

This is mainly a maintenance release focused on fixing the squad system.

  • Fixed bug where user did not have a display name when entering the game for the first time
  • Fixed bug where artillery could move in deployed state if it transferred to another field while deployed
  • Fixed bug where squad invites won’t show
  • Artillery rate of fire miscalculation while deployed
  • AI Bots unable to see players inside field border, if the bots are outside of the field border
  • New player doesn’t receive old squads
  • Aiming lasers showing while transitioning
  • Nearby Mechs not showing markers if outside field border while camera is inside field border
